Return Policy
We consider all sales to be final. Many companies who sell OEM or remanufactured electronic components
do not accept returns unless the product or service is defective and under warranty. We believe that our
service is the best in the industry. We try to keep our prices down by minimizing both wasted materials
and unnecessary manpower.
Consequently, please order from us only if you are sure of the part number and the need for it. It is
necessary for us to completely retest each returned unit before we can restock it whether or not it shows
signs of use. Many shops keep several components in stock to facilitate future sales. We would be glad to
trade for a unit that better fits your needs within a reasonable time from invoice date.
However… to accommodate the occasional mistake we offer the following procedures:
- An item may be traded for a different part number if the installation seal has not been broken or removed and
has never been installed in a vehicle.
- You must call or email (return@gdl-online.com) with a request for a GDL Return Authorization Number.
- Please let us know for which amp you request a trade.
- Include billing/credit card information.
- The GDL Return Authorization Number must be in bold characters near or on the shipping label of the
returned package.
- The purchaser must pay all shipping, COD, and transaction costs.
- The time limit on free trades is 30 days from our original invoice.
- Trades between 30 and 75 days are subject to 35% fee - calculated on remanufacture price.
- No trades after 75 days.
- An item may be returned for credit under all of the following conditions:
- You must call or email (return@gdl-online.com) with a request for a GDL Return Authorization Number.
- There should be a reasonable explanation for the return.
- The GDL Return Authorization Number must be in bold characters near or on the shipping label of the
returned package.
- The purchaser must pay all shipping, COD, and transaction costs.
- The following retest, restocking, additional handling (and general aggravation) fees apply:
- Returns authorized and received within 15 days from our original invoice (oi) - no fee.
- Returns authorized and received between 16 and 45 days oi - 25%
- Returns authorized and received between 46 and 75 days oi - 50%
- No returns accepted after 75 days.
(these percentages are applied to the product or service only - 100% of shipping and other
costs are still due)
- Acceptance of the return is subject to a perfect retest of the equipment and that it is in original
physical condition. If the test(s) fail or if there is physical damage there is no credit.
- Credit is applied to future purchases; there are no monetary refunds.
